Last month I received an email to say I’d been recognised in the SME News 2020 Business Elite program as:
🏆 “Most Trusted Event Photographer, 2020 – Lancashire” 🏆
It’s a bit bitter sweet winning this for event photographer Lancashire award as with COVID19 there hasn’t been that many events to capture! Luckly we got in the Blackburn College‘s Internation Women’s Day event and my last event to capture before lockdown was Stodge Podge at my favourite venue in Manchester, Harvey Nichols Second Floor Bar and Brasserie. So much so I cannot wait to be photographing events in Lancashire, Manchester and where ever else the work takes me! I do hope larger gatherings can safely take place soon!
This award I had actually received as well last year, but as things do, things got in the way and I didn’t shout about it!
So this year, I’ve taken my own advice of what I tell my clients and business associates, to celebrate their wins and here is the story written by Catherine Smyth Media over on the Lancs Live website: https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/rossendale-businesses-celebrating-after-winning-18901765
In Rossendale there were two fellow businesses which have won – Grow Your Mindset and Chic Boutique Travel so it just made sense for us to club together and celebrate the award wins in the local area under one press release.
Obviously there had to be a photo to go alongside it, but seeing as I had to be in it being the business owner, it was over to Catherine to take the photo with a bit of socially distanced guidance from myself. I can never miss an opportunity to help with it comes to photography!
When you win your next award, are you going to shout about it and use a professional photographer to help get your good news story out with great coverage?
Please contact me via any of the ways listed on my contact page and I look forward to helping you celebrate your good news story with professional images which will work great alongside a well written press release.
