This week I received a message, asking if I could photograph a house to which my answer was yes! I have previously photographed property for a local online estate agency so was really looking forward to this job.
This is a lovely 3 bedroom property, a next to end terrace with garden at the rear. From the outside it does appear quite small, but this is a spacious home, decorated to a high standard.
As you can see above, there is a long, established garden, with a storage at the end and plenty of space along the washing line for those fine days!
This is the kitchen diner with patio doors into the garden. This had previously had been the second reception room, but the current owners made this large kitchen space, leaving the old kitchen area through the closed door in the image as a brilliant utility area.
Two of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor, both with lots of natural light from tall windows
One bathroom to the rear has a bath with a shower head and a lovely big window
Above is the master bedroom which is huge! I did walk in here and go ‘wow!’ as there is so much room, aided with the built-in wardrobes in the alcoves around the fireplace and lots of natural light with two windows at the front of the property.
The other bathroom on the first floor has been turned into this amazing shower room. This proved the hardest room to photograph as there is no natural light in this room, and relying solely on ambient light from the light fittings was not enough to show the room’s full potential. This is where my skills of studio lighting came into play, and through using my flashgun as a manually controlled light source you are able to see the detail in this room pictured above.
Within this property, many features are present, with the fireplace above in the Master Bedroom (pictured above), along with the original gas lamp and flooring in the hall way.
The third bedroom is in the attic, which again is very spacious, covering quite a large footprint of the property with a skylight giving natural light in here too.
There is also a cellar divided into three areas, accessible through the kitchen.
