A few weeks ago I was asked to photograph on behalf of Passion 4 Events at Stanley House Hotel in Blackburn. Passion 4 Events were organizing a quarterly event for EMK Powershop.
The guests arrived in four limousines at twilight. For the arrival shots, I wanted to capture some of the ambient lighting available, which meant I needed location lighting to light the limo and guests. Lencarta’s Safari portable lighting system with an umbrella either side of my camera was my choice for this as the power output is brilliant for such small and lightweight kit.

Three of the limo’s were branded with the EMK Powershop logo and with the fast fading available light, was able to capture the image below showing the branding across the three vehicles.

I was there just to capture a small part of the evening, and took the Lencarta lighting into the hotel to take the this large group shot. This stairwell was brilliant for this, as I had a high vantage point, and the steps were deep enough to stand two or three people.
